My name is Hilde and i am fond of animals, especially dogs. Despite my allergy to dogs I have been all my life surrounded by this super animals. Several years after the death of my little dog “Maxim”, a Cavalier King Charles, I went looking for a different breed. Now you know right away where the name of my kennel “Maxim’s Australian Labradoodles” is coming from. This as a tribute to him, so he still is among us, though he’s no longer there. A breed where the health of the animals comes First. Because my dog died of heart failure, a common disease due to Cavaliers.

During my extensive search I ended up with the “Australian Labradoodle”: a dog with an allergy friendly coat ! That cuddly, very sweet, intelligent, agile and sporty,……. Is. My decision was taken soon, this will be my next dog!

The next step was to search where I could find such beautiful soft dogs which are breded on an animal friendly way, with the necessary care and love, and according to the strict rules of the ALAEU. Because in Belgium there were only three active breeders, i got the idea to use my passion for dogs and become a hobby breeder myself. So i found in the Netherlands the “Annahoeve”.
When we, after a long waiting period, finally were allowed to go get our First doodlegirl “Duchesse” we were all ecstatic.
However, it remained exciting because if our beautiful duchesse would be approved to breed depended on a lot of tests to be done at the age of 1 year. And so our story began…

I see myself as a small-scale breeder who respects the strict inspection rules of the ALAEU.

Meanwhile, 3 females live in my house: our medium Duchesse and the 2 minis Roxanne and Rosalie.
