Colours

The Australian Labradoodle is there in many different pretty colours:

• Black
• Chocolate
• Apricot
• Red
• Off white

And many variations in between. The coat can be solid or two-tone.

In the summer months and when the dogs play outside much the colour of the coat can get lighter.

Coats

There are two types of coats:

• The woolly coat: this coat is thicker and has more curls, she is also a bit more difficult to maintain and to brush.
• The fleece coat: this coat is looser and wavy.

Both coats should be brushed regularly. Because these dogs do not shed the old coat stays stuck in the new coat, so a weekly brush is desired. The coat also needs a regularly haircut, especially to the eyes. It’s nice to keep the eyes free so that your dog can see you well, and you can look better in those sweet eyes.

The Australian Labradoodle has no typical dogs smell and the coat is for 98% allergy friendly.
